Noel Ocol, a father of two young girls and a vintage motorcycle aficionado, is the Director, Marketing & Communications at Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation.
Noel comes to Salt and Light with over 17 years in senior management and revenue generating positions in software, systems, and consulting services into the Energy, Financial, and Manufacturing sectors. He specializes in providing business leadership in the evaluation, articulation, development and implementation of strategic initiatives from inception to delivery.
As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Noel’s mandate is to orchestrate and manage the overall strategic direction of all marketing, communications, PR & media relations, sales & development as well as the social media strategy for the entire organization.
As a member of senior management, reporting to CEO Fr. Thomas Rosica, Noel manages the quality and efficiency of his staff, their work, and is ultimately accountable to the organization for his team’s performance.
Coming from years in the corporate secular world, Noel recognizes the need for the Catholic Church’s New Evangelization and takes very seriously the import mandate that S+L has in proclaiming it in the new digital continent.
When not behind his desk at the Salt and Light Office, or not busy being a father and a husband, you’ll probably find Noel roaring through the streets of Toronto on some vintage motorcycle along with other vintage motorcycle addicts, till the wee hours of the morning.
