You’ll be seeing a lot of Fr. James Mallon on S+L this week. He’s the current pastor of St. Benedict parish in Halifax, a new church that resulted from the amalgamation of three churches in downtown Halifax. This Friday on Perspectives Weekly, he speaks about how his community was able to make the most of a difficult situation.
Fr. Mallon is also the founder and director of the John Paul II Media Institute, which, since 2005, has been dedicated to “the advancement of the Kingdom of God through education in, and production of, media.” One of their latest initiatives is Dogmatic Theology, an eight week series that combines a priest, a theologian, a live audience, and man’s best friend. Dogmatic Theology premieres on S+L tonight at 8:00 pm ET / 5:00 pm PT. In the meantime, watch the trailer above.
I am trying to locate the premier of the eight week series here and not able to locate other than the trailer footage. Does it begin @5pm or am I too late
Hi Belinda,
The first episode aired Wednesday at 8pm ET / 5pm PT, which has already passed. There are two repeat broadcast times:
-Thursday at 1pm ET / 10am ET (also already passed)
-Saturday at 3am ET / 12am ET (aka Friday at midnight)
So if you set your VCR or PVR for late Friday night, you can still catch the first episode. Unfortunately, the episodes won’t be available online. For your reference, here is our full programming schedule:
