God has been really wonderful to me. And he has shown his appreciation of what I have done with my life through the people who talked to me. One guy approached me after the talk and said, with tears in his eyes, “I’m from the Deaf community. I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been going through something, but you’ve given me hope. Thank you.” Another great surprise was having a teenager approach me. She is in Grade 10 and she said, “I wanted to let you know that I could really relate to what you said about being a teenager. I thought to myself, hey, that’s me!” So, thank you, Archbishop Smith and the Archdiocese of Edmonton for inviting me to be part of Nothing More Beautiful. It really has indeed been a wonderful experience, a way of me being humbled by God’s handiwork. This morning, Wally, Matthew, and I are off to Toronto! Home, here we come!
