Gillian writes on the Domestic Church at Headline Bistro

Salt + Light producer Gillian Kantor has been busy working on a second season of our book show Word for Word ... all while taking care of her one and half year old son Joseph, and just passing the midway point of her pregnancy with another little bundle of joy!
In and amongst all this busyness, Gillian offered a reflection on her Domestic Church for the Knights of Columbus news service Headline Bistro. Check it out below:

One recent morning, my son tried flushing a rosary down the toilet.
In a moment of desperately needing a plaything to occupy my one-and-a-half year-old’s busy hands, I had offered him my rosary and cheerily thought it was so sweet, so holy, to see his chubby fingers grasping the beads. That is, until a moment and a turned-back later, those same fingers lifted the toilet lid and tossed in the once-rose-scented rosary.
