We begin in Paris at Notre Dame Cathedral, the Sainte-Chapelle, and the Basilica of Sacré Coeur that dominates the Parisian landscape.  What would a visit to Paris be without stopping at the Eiffel Tower and a little cruise along the Seine? In Ernest Hemingway's posthumously published memoirs of his life in 1920s Paris, he wrote:

If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a movable feast.

We will continue the journey to Nevers praying in the footsteps of St. Bernadette Soubirous, and stop in Paray-le-Monial where the Lord revealed his Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. Continuing on to Avignon, we will remember St. Catherine of Siena who knelt and prayed there for the unity of the Catholic Church.  We conclude our visit with three days in the town of Lourdes, joining thousands of pilgrims to pray to the beautiful lady who appeared in the grotto to a young peasant named Bernadette.
