WYD - Programming note regarding Way of the Cross

August 19, 2011
S+L's presentation of the Via Crucis at World Youth Day will now be starting at 12:45pm ET/9:45am PT, 15 minutes earlier than previously advertised. Our broadcast begins with our World Youth Day pre-show, which will include a talk by Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB, given today at the WYD Love and Life Site. Fr. Rosica's address was a part of a panel on "How to Pray", which also featured Fr. John Phalen, CSC, Fr. Phil Hurley, SJ, and Sr. Mary Elizabeth Wusinich, SV. The full panel discussion will be made available later at WYD Central.
Following the talk, we will go live to the streets of Madrid as the Holy Father commemorates the Stations of the Cross. The solemn liturgy will feature statues from all over Spain that represent traditional Holy Week celebrations. You can learn more about each of the statues here.
Correction: While the "How to Pray" panel discussion will be made available later on WYD Central, at the start of our broadcast we will instead be hearing Fr. Rosica's live introduction to the Way of the Cross.
