jg-1A new book called The Third Man Factor: The Secret to Survival in Extreme Environments has become a national best seller and has drawn international media attention due to its extraordinary claim that we humans are never truly alone.
Author John Geiger, editorial board editor of Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper, has presented in rich detail an impeccably researched book tracing a recurring phenomenon: that individuals facing life and death situations oftentimes experience a sense of an incorporeal being beside them, encouraging them to make one final effort to survive.
In tonight’s episode of Catholic Focus I sit down with John Geiger and talk openly about the spiritual and religious implications of his research.
I am also joined by Toronto Auxiliary Bishop Peter J. Hundt, who shares his insights into the supernatural, the unexplained, and whether the “third man” is in fact synonymous with Guardian Angels.
Catholic Focus: The Third Man Factor airs Wednesday, April 8th at 7pm and 11pm ET, with an encore presentation Saturday, April 11th (same times).
