Utah bishop: Shared values strengthen Catholic-Mormon relations
March 19, 2012
Bishop John Wester heads the Salt Lake City Diocese in the United States. As leader of the only Catholic diocese in the State of Utah, Bishop Wester also has unique relations with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that has its international headquarters in Salt Lake City. In this Witness interview, host Fr. Thomas Rosica and Bishop Wester discuss a host of current issues that Salt Lake City's Ordinary deals with each day: immigration, relations with the Mormon Church, and many communications issues that are part of Bishop Wester's portfolio as the recently elected chair of the Communications Committee of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
