June 1, 2012
Can a Catholic university bring peace to the Holy Land? The upcoming Salt + Light documentary Across the Divide tells the story of Bethlehem University and its students. They include Berlanty Azzam, who was deported to Gaza as she tried to complete her degree. Perspectives host Pedro Guevara-Mann speaks with Berlanty, along with the writer and co-director of Across the Divide, S+L's Kris Dmytrenko.
The world premiere of Across the Divide is this Sunday in Vancouver. This special event includes a panel discussion with Archbishop Michael Miller of Vancouver, Carl Hetu from CNEWA Canada, Br. Jack Curran from Bethlehem University and S+L's Fr. Thomas Rosica. Visit our website to reserve tickets.
