Saturday, on the feast day of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the theme was, “Exploring and Celebrating the Word of God which Nourishes our Communion. Mary as a ‘hearer of the Word’ par excellence” The catechesis was delivered by Archbishop Luis Antonio Tagle of the Archdiocese of Manila in the Philippines. The testimony was given by Professor John Monaghan, Vice President of the Society of St Vincent de Paul. Following the presentations was Mass, which was presided by His Eminence, Robert Cardinal Sarah, President of the Pontifical Council Cor Unum in Rome.
