Witness: Bishop Gary Gordon

October 19, 2012
The Yukon Territory is considered a gem in Canada's landscape, boasting majestic mountains, glistening lakes, and and endless sky. The Catholic community in the Yukon hungers for Christ, but the challenges are many. Bishop Gary Gordon of Whitehorse talks to Father Thomas Rosica in this coming week's episode of Witness. They discuss what it's like to live in Canada's subarctic territory and about the challenges and blessings of ministering to a diocese with three priests and 22 communities.
Due to our coverage of the Canonization events and our premiere of In Her Footsteps: The Story of Kateri Tekakwitha, Witness with Fr. Thomas Rosica will not air on Sunday, Oct. 21. Instead, we will broadcast this episode on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET/ 5:00p.m. PT.
