A Pilgrim Pope: Benedict XVI in the Holy Land Streaming Online

June 17, 2009
b16-holyland1Salt+Light is pleased to announce the one hour special "A Pilgrim Pope: Benedict XVI in the Holy Land" is now available for viewing on our website.
The Holy Father's Apostolic Voyage was so packed with historic moments and significant events we put together a one hour special to look back at some of the key moments of the visit and get some expert insight. Kris Dmytrenko and I look at the Holy Father's visits to representatives of the Jewish faith and the Muslim faith, the visits to traditionally Christian pilgrimage sites, and the Holy Father's attempts to promote peace between Israel and the Palestinian Territories.
Toronto Star columnist Haroon Siddiqui talks to Kris about what Pope Benedict's voyage has done for Catholic-Muslim relations. Fr. Darren Dias, O.P. talks to me about the Holy Father's visits to sacred Jewish sites and his meeting with Jewish leaders. Fr. Thomas Rosica, CEO of Salt+Light, shares his own personal experiences of living the Holy Land among the sites made Holy by Jesus' life.
If you didn't get a chance to watch this one hour special on our network, you can now watch on-line by following the LINK from our main page. The Holy Father in the Holy Land, on a computer near you!
