Pastoral ministry in a missionary key

September 5, 2014
church-alive-blog
For the past year Catholics across North America and beyond have been watching The Church Alive series in their homes, parishes and schools.  Salt and Light is proud to announce that the award winning series on the New Evangelization is now available on DVD, in time for the 2014-2015 academic year.
Included in the package is a 75-page study guide to bring the viewer deeper into the major themes of each episode.  We hope to inspire and also challenge Catholics of all ages to take the words of Pope Francis seriously:
“Pastoral ministry in a missionary key seeks to abandon the complacent attitude that says: “We have always done it this way”.  I invite everyone to be bold and creative in this task of rethinking the goals, structures, style and methods of evangelization in their respective communities.”  Evangelii Gaudium, 33
