The youth of the world wait with great anticipation for Pope Francis’ second World Youth Day to take place in Krakow, Poland in 2016. The official website for Krakow 2016 released a video promo for the pontiff’s visit to the home of newly canonized Saint John Paul II. In addition to a special invitation to all pilgrims on behalf of Marshall Marek Sowa and Stanislaw Cardinal Dziwisz, the video includes Francis’ joyful and exciting announcement of WYD 2016. The video also teases the audience with images of the magnificent churches and cathedrals that align the streets of Krakow and shots of the majestic countryside that Saint John Paul II roamed throughout his life, inviting pilgrims to walk along the same path in 2016.
