Mary MacKillop: Australia’s First Saint – DVD now available for pre-order!

August 26, 2009
blmackillopAs you may know, fellow Salt + Light producer, Kris Dmytrenko, and I went to World Youth Day 2008 in Sydney, Australia. Right after World Youth Day, we stayed a few days longer, this time in the southern part of Australia – South Australia! We were kindly hosted by the Archdiocese of Adelaide. Our mission: to spend a couple of days checking out significant sites in the life of Blessed Mary MacKillop. We wanted to bring her alive for our Canadian and international viewers.
I had never heard of Mary MacKillop until World Youth Day 2008. She was popular not only with Australian Catholics but with all Australians, with schools and bridges named after her. I invite you to check the Mary MacKillop webpage, and preview the 25-minute production. It is also now available on DVD, which you can pre-order now!
