Pope Francis recognizes decrees for causes of saints - Perspectives Daily

December 5, 2016
Over the weekend, the Holy Father met with the prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints to approve the decrees of 12 new Servants of God, including the martyrdom of an American priest killed in Guatemala. The Pope also met with business leaders from around the world in Rome for a global forum on fighting inequality. And on Sunday, he delivered his usual reflection at the Angelus prayer, and spoke on how to "prepare the way of the Lord" for Christmas.
