Deacon-structing: 2016 in Catholic Music

December 31, 2016
This week, I'm taking a break from Deacon-structing and instead giving you my best shot at a summary of 2016: As seen from the SLHour radio desk, with many of the artists that we featured on the program this year.
On this special New Years edition of the SLHour, we revisit all the new albums released by Catholic artists in 2016 and featured on our program. Tune in for some of the best songs of 2016 featuring Jonathan Hilsden, Shaun Garrison, PJ Anderson, Kyle Heimann, Lupe Rios, Mags, Mikey Needleman, Rebecca Roubion, Sarah Hart and John Michael Talbot. If you're not familiar with "Catholic" music or artists, this is the best place to start. If you're not familiar with our weekly radio program, the SLHour, this is a very good place to start! Happy new year!

Every week, Deacon Pedro takes a particular topic apart, not so much to explore or explain the subject to its fullness, but rather to provide insights that will deepen our understanding of the subject. And don’t worry, at the end of the day he always puts the pieces back together. There are no limits to deaconstructing: Write to him and ask any questions about the faith or Church teaching: pedro@saltandlighttv.org. Every week, he also hosts and produces, the Salt + Light Radio Hour, which airs on various stations across the U.S. and online at saltandlighttv.org/radio. Tune in every week to listen to the best of S+L on the radio!
