Delegation of Rabbis meet Pope Francis at the Vatican - Perspectives Daily

August 31, 2017
The Holy Father welcomed a delegation of Rabbis at the Vatican on Thursday. They gave him a document titled "Between Jerusalem and Rome", on relations between Catholics and Jews, and he delivered a short address. Pope Francis also sent a telegram to the Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, Daniel DiNardo, offering his prayers for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. He hopes "that the immense and immediate needs of so many individuals and communities will continue to inspire a vast outpouring of solidarity and mutual aid”.
