Media are informing the offices of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) that a motion relating to the Catholic Church and the operation of the former Indian Residential Schools will be debated in the House of Commons and possibly also in the Senate. The attached document is intended to provide some context on the overall issue and also to clarify a number of inaccuracies which are being circulated or reported.
