Perspectives Daily: Archbishop of Washington responds to the grand jury report

Responding to the Pennsylvania grand jury report on clerical child sexual abuse, Washington Archbishop, Cardinal Donald Wuerl said in a statement yesterday that during his tenure as Bishop of Pittsburgh, he established strong policies that addressed the needs of abuse survivors, removed priests from ministry, and protected the most vulnerable in the community.
