S+L To Provide Live Webcast of Toronto’s Episcopal Ordinations Next Week

January 8, 2010
Salt + Light Television is pleased to bring viewers the Episcopal Ordinations of Toronto’s two newest Auxiliary Bishops this coming Tuesday and Wednesday.
TOAuxBishop-elect William McGrattan will be ordained Bishop on Tuesday, January 12th at St. Peter's Cathedral in London, Ontario, while Bishop-elect Vincent Nguyen will be ordained Bishop on Wednesday, January 13th at St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto.
For those that are unable to attend, we will be streaming both of these Masses live through our website. Our live coverage begins at 2:50pm ET (the actual Ordination Masses begin at 3pm ET). This is the first time a Canadian episcopal ordination is available via online streaming! (Correction: This is an English-language first in Canada--our friends at ECDQ.tv streamed the ordination of Quebec City Auxiliary Bishops Paul Lortie and Gérald Cyprien Lacroix in May.)
The Masses will also be broadcast on Salt + Light Television. Bishop William McGrattan's Episcopal Ordination will air on Saturday January 16 at 8:00pm ET with encore presentations on Sunday January 17 at 12:30am & 9:00am ET. Bishop Vincent Bishop Nguyen's Episcopal Ordination will air on Sunday January 17 at 8:30pm ET with encore presentations on Monday January 18 at 1:00am and 7:30am ET.
Tune into Salt + Light and join in these joyous celebrations!
