Job Posting: Assistant Webmaster

Salt + Light TV is currently seeking a part-time assistant webmaster to develop and maintain the network's website.

Summary:
Under the general direction of the Webmaster and the Director of Marketing & Communications, will be responsible for creating and maintaining web content for all of Salt + Light’s Television Productions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Marketing Staff, Producers & Graphic Designer to ensure information is current, accurate, and user friendly
  • Maintain the company's existing website and create new webpages for future television production
  • Evaluate the website features and work on development of new functional features
  • Convert, compress and upload video files for online streaming


    • Qualifications:
  • Enthusiastic and works well in a team environment
  • A qualified working knowledge of HTML / DHTML / CSS is required
  • An experience of PHP / MYSQL / FLASH / JAVA would be an asset
  • Software knowlede: Dreamweaver 8 / Flash 8 / Open source software
