129th Knights of Columbus Supreme Convention August 2-4, 2011
Started by a humble parish priest, the Knights of Columbus have grown into the world’s largest lay Catholic organization with over 1.8 million members.
Every year the Knights gather to celebrate their faith and the work they do. In particular, they celebrate the organization’s core principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The statistics are always stunning. In the last decade alone over 1.4 billion dollars have been raised and 653 million hours volunteered for those in need.
This year’s gathering, the 129th Supreme Convention, comes from Denver, Colorado, August 2nd to 4th. For more information on the Knights of Columbus and this year’s convention visit their official website.
