Started by a humble parish priest, the Knights of Columbus have grown into the world’s largest lay Catholic organization with over 1.8 million members.
Every year the Knights gather to celebrate their faith and the work they do. In particular, they celebrate the organization’s core principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The statistics are always stunning. In the last decade alone over 1.4 billion dollars have been raised and 653 million hours volunteered for those in need. This year’s gathering the 132nd Supreme Convention comes from Orlando, Florida, August 5-7.
