September 21, 2012 - This week on Perspectives: The Weekly Edition, guest host Andrew Santos speaks with Fr. Galea and Jason Giuliani, who, at the time of this episode, were in Canada on a music tour. Giuliani is a high school religion teacher from Victoria, Australia. Both of them had the chance to speak about their music ministry, their travels, the priesthood and their work with young people.
Fr. Robert Galea is a Maltese-Australian singer and songwriter. He has completed five albums thus far:More of You (2004), Closer (2006), What A Day (2008), Divine Mercy Chaplet [Featuring Gary Pinto and Natasha Pinto] (2010) and Reach Out (2011), as well as a live concert DVD and CD entitled, Fr Robert Galea, Reach Out Live (2011).
Fr. Galea completed his seminary studies in Melbourne in 2010 and is currently serving as Associate Pastor at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Shepparton in the Diocese of Sandhurst.

Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC
An application by Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation to renew the broadcasting licence for the national English-language Category 2 specialty programming undertaking Salt and Light, which expires 31 August 2013.
The licensee has confirmed that it will adhere to the standard conditions of licence for specialty Category B services set out in Standard conditions of licence, expectations and encouragements for Category B pay and specialty services – Corrected Appendices 1 and 2, Broadcasting Regulatory Policy CRTC 2010-786-1, 18 July 2011, but proposes changes with respect to the provision of closed captioning.
The licensee proposes to operate the undertaking under the same terms and conditions as those in effect under the current licence, with the exception of the changes resulting from the acceptance of the standard conditions of licence and the amendment mentioned above.
