The WYD2002 compilation album is the only completely international Catholic music collection in the world with artists from over 15 different countries, singing in 7 different languages. They were all in Toronto for WYD in 2002 and pulled together a concert with most of the songs from the album. On this special encore edition of the SLHOUR, we bring you highlights from this special concert: the WYD2002 CD LIVE – recorded at Exhibition Place, on July 18th 2002. ¿A Qué Esperar?, why wait? This song inspires us not to wait until it’s too late. Only human beings are capable of putting off things that are important. The best moment is now. It’s never late with God, but time is always present and we only live once.

The refrain says, “Why wait if life is but a whisper that doesn’t last? Why wait if forgiveness is meant to be freely given? Why wait if the best moment is now? Why wait if love heals all fear? Why wait if God is by your side and knows your struggle? Why wait if what’s important is that your soul, in the end, is at peace?
