Created by God and Saved in Jesus Christ

“There is nothing more beautiful than to be surprised by the Gospel, by the encounter with Christ. There is nothing more beautiful than to know Him and to speak to others of our friendship with him.”

Those words from Pope Benedict XVI are the inspiration for Nothing More Beautiful. A five year initiative from the Archdiocese of Edmonton, Nothing More Beautiful is a series of catechesis and witness talks that aims to renew the faithful’s relationship with Christ.

The overall theme of the first year of Nothing More Beautiful is The Beauty of the Human Person, Created by God and Saved in Jesus Christ. From this topic stemmed four enriching encounters contained in this DVD:

In the Image and Likeness of God

Each 60 to 80 minute program includes both talks as well as a small segment of Vespers from each event. To help the viewer better consider the content of each encounter, this DVD also includes a 7-10 minute Catechetical Focus by Archbishop Richard Smith for each Nothing More Beautiful episode.
