Bethlehem University, the only Catholic university in the Holy Land, is the subject of the S+L documentary Across the Divide. Pope Paul VI entrusted the founding of the university to the De La Salle Christian Brothers, who continue to administer it today. Among its leaders are Br. Peter Bray, the Vice Chancellor, and Br. Jack Curran, the Vice President of Development. Filmed during a 2009 visit to Canada, the two religious brothers share what it's like to run a Catholic university in the midst of the ongoing conflict.
