A 3 o'clock prayer | Everyday Miracles

When I was 19, I was on my way home from university for Easter weekend. I was driving with a girl in my car who also needed a ride.
It came upon 3 o'clock — the hour that Jesus died on the Cross. I wasn’t necessarily comfortable sharing my faith with others, but I mustered up the courage to ask her, “Hey, would you mind if we said a quick prayer? It’s 3 o'clock, and it’s Good Friday.”
She said, “Yeah, sure.”
So I thanked God for the day and for our families, and I asked that He would keep us safe.
Just moments later, a tire tread from a semi-truck flew into our windshield, lengthwise. Our car was sent into a spin across a 3-lane highway full of spring breakers and travellers for the Easter weekend. Just as suddenly, we came to a stop, and I was able to put the car in drive so we could get to the side of the road.
Incredibly, when we spun, not one other car on the road had been impacted.
A semi-truck driver who was just behind us pulled over to make sure we were okay and kept repeating, “All I could see was you were going to be going under my wheels.”
A family, complete strangers, followed us to the semi-truck driver's garage and drove us three hours to my friend's home.
Not only did we not die instantly when that tire tread hit our windshield at 60 mph, nor collide with another car on our spin — but I came away from the incident with only tiny scratches on my hand, and my friend had no injuries whatsoever. God spared our lives and then sent multiple angels to protect us.
Now, every Good Friday at 3 pm, in memory of the event, my mother calls me to say she’s thankful to the Lord!
This was one of those experiences in my life which explain why I believe in God. I saw His hand protect us and save our lives in an extreme way on that day. And, now, looking at my family – husband, children, and grandchildren, I visibly see that He wanted them. His Mercy is so great and so overflowing!
