This week we bid farewell to our long-running daily news program: Perspectives Daily. In our changing, increasingly fast-paced world, we wanted to provide our television viewers and all those who follow us on social media with a news program that fits better with a busy lifestyle and which also takes into account the fact that “the news never sleeps”. Beginning Monday, April 15, 2019, Salt + Light TV will be offering a brand new program to help keep our viewers up to date on the latest Catholic headlines as they happen. Salt + Light Minute will air on the hour periodically throughout each weekday on Salt + Light TV and our digital platforms. This one-minute news update will replace Perspectives Daily. By changing to this one-minute format, we will be able to offer a summary of Catholic news headlines more frequently throughout the day, and it will also give us greater flexibility in being able to offer new headlines that occur during the day. You will be able to catch Salt + Light Minute on our network in English at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 7pm, 9pm, 11pm, and 1am. It will also air in French at 5pm and 7:30pm, in Italian at 4pm and 4am, and in Chinese at 6pm. [All times subject to change depending on daily broadcast schedule.] Each news update will also be shared on all of our social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. But don’t worry. Perspectives Daily won’t disappear completely. You will still be able to access past episodes through our Perspectives Daily webpage and also our YouTube channel.
