Papal Greeting for Media Convention

Besides drawing some 475 delegates, the Catholic Media Convention in Toronto brought a number of representatives from the Vatican. The president emeritus of the Pontifical Council for Social Communication, John Cardinal Foley was in attendance (for those keeping track, he's now the Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem). His successor, Archbishop Claudio Celli, was on hand too. The director of the Holy See Press Office, and the head of Vatican Radio and Vatican Television delivered a key note address on the second day of the convention. Archbishop Luigi Ventura, the Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, even dropped by for a day. Pope Benedict XVI was well represented! The Holy Father's formal greeting was also delivered via Archbishop Celli.
