Salt + Light has released its newly created iPhone/iPad app. This app was a gruelling 6 month project in the making. It was made possible by the volunteer work of Pierre Wirawan and two developers working on their programmer's university thesis in Indonesia, Rendy Ong and Edric Satyaka.
Anyone with an iPhone 3GS or newer (iPod Touch 3rd Gen and later, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3) will be able to download this app from the Apple App Store.  Many of us here at Salt + Light have this app installed on our personal devices to test and preview before our official launch. The exterior design and graphics within the app is the creative design of Joshua Lanzarini, Salt + Light's webmaster. He spent many extra hours in his day refining and fine tuning the app to his design perfection. He was in constant communication with our developers providing guidance, ideas, direction and suggestions as the app was being built. We are excited to share with you how you will be able to connect to your Catholic faith through this app.
Salt + Light is thrilled to release this app, and we plan on expanding our presence in this mobile frontier in the future in bigger and better ways.
With this app you can:
  1. Read our blog and Fr. Rosica's weekly biblical reflections
  2. Watch our latest Perspectives, Witness, and Catholic Focus Episodes
  3. Pray and read the daily mass readings
  4. Listen to S+L Radio Podcasts and our upcoming 24 hour radio feed.
  5. Read our semi-annual magazine
  6. Submit prayers and petitions to be offered in our chapel at mass.
