Salt + Light Radio celebrates milestone 100th episode

Salt + Light Media

Friday, February 25, 2011

Salt + Light Radio will broadcast its 100th episode on Saturday, February 26.
The program, which first aired in January 2009, is part of the media ministry of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation and is available on the Catholic Channel, Sirius Satellite Radio 159 and XM Radio 117.
With host Pedro Guevara Mann, Salt + Light Radio has offered listeners – more than 5,000 a week – inspiring messages, insightful interviews, interesting commentary and music plus news updates with Kris Dmytrenko and Catholic events listings with Mary Rose Bacani and Jenna Murphy.
Salt + Light Radio started from a small idea and with limited resources. It has become the leading Canadian Catholic audio program and podcast that offers quality music and interviews with artists and other notable personalities. Over this two-year period Salt + Light Radio has played host to a number of artists like: Fathers David Delargy and Martin O'Hagan of The Priests, John Michael Talbot, Matt Maher, Sarah Hart, Steve Angrisano, Jesse Manibusan, Critical Mass, Susan Hookong-Taylor, Janelle and Chris Bray.
Featured in the 100th episode: Is there anything about Christianity that you hate? Or that you struggle with? S+L Radio speaks with Jason Berggren, author of “10 Things I Hate About Christianity” about how he’s worked through his frustrations. Chris Giardino offers three more DVD picks for the weekend and Colleen MacAlister returns as featured artist of the week.
