Did you have a chance to catch Pope Benedict XVI's Wednesday arrival in rainy Brazil on Salt + Light Television?
Waving flags and "Long Live the Pope" chants from enthusiastic crowds in Sao Paulo greeted the Holy Father as he began his first visit to Latin America as pope. The five day trip will include a canonization, a visit to a popular shrine, the opening of a Bishop's conference, and other public appearances and addresses.
Be sure to keep track of the Holy Father in Brazil by staying tuned to Salt + Light's coverage. Click here for our broadcast schedule (Please keep in mind that this schedule is subject to change based on program availability from our satellite provider).
Be sure to also to check our daily online update Zoom, for highlights of the trip.
Enjoy watching the Holy Father's trip, and be sure to keep him and his intentions for a successful trip in your prayers!  As Pope Benedict said from the balcony of the Monastery of St. Benedict where he stayed his first night: "I am counting on you and on your prayers!"
