The 42nd annual Cardinal’s Dinner will be held virtually. While we aren’t able to gather in person due to the pandemic, we are excited to invite Catholics throughout the archdiocese to join us on Tuesday, November 23 at 7:00 pm from the comfort of their own homes. The one-hour special event can be seen nationally on
Salt + Light TV and will be livestreamed on
Facebook.
The theme for this year’s Dinner is
A Journey Toward Healing and Reconciliation. This journey is particularly relevant to Catholics across Canada. This engaging 60-minute program will include discussion about that journey and how we can all work toward a better future for residential school survivors, their families, and all people of faith. While there is no cost to attend the event, donations will be gratefully accepted. Funds raised will support both longstanding Cardinal's Dinner charities and the Indigenous Healing and Reconciliation efforts of the archdiocese.
We invite you to kindly consider supporting the event this year once again. An official tax receipt will be issued for the amount contributed.
Since its inception, the Cardinal’s Dinner has raised over $6 million for the Cardinal's personal charities for the less fortunate in our community.
