Vatican Connections: The story behind the "Sand Nativity" at the Vatican

Noel Ocol

Tuesday, December 11, 2018

We’re back for another week of the latest behind-the-scenes stories directly from the Vatican.
Over the past week, a lot of interesting things have happened in Rome.
Here are some of the stories that I have for you in tonight’s show:
  1. The pope made some surprise visits on Friday. We’ll tell you to whom and why.
  2. The papal Lamborghini is back on the selling block. And now you actually have a chance to own it for as little as $10.
  3. From beach to basilica. The Vatican’s 2018 Nativity scene in St. Peter’s Square is unveiled, and it looks absolutely incredible. We talk to the guy who put it all together.
  4. This week in Vatican history, we look at how the Vatican happened to stumble upon the last paintings of Raphael… that were assumed lost... at the Vatican Museum. Can you imagine that?
I have all of those stories and more coming up on this week's Vatican Connections.
