As we enter into Christmas Eve Day, Salt + Light wants to remind you of our Christmas programming line up.  We told you recently about The Priest's concert, but there's plenty more:
  • Liam Neeson hosts The Birth of Christ, which offers highlights of Andrew T. Miller's beautiful musical celebration of the Savior's birth.
  • Christmas in Rome looks at the traditions and celebrations of Christmas in Rome
  • You may not be in Rome this year, but you can at least watch Midnight Mass from St. Peter's Basilica celebrated by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI.  The broadcast will be live at 6pm ET in French with English Second Audio Programming (SAP), then will repeat at midnight, 3am and 1pm ET in English.  (A note: some viewers have asked what SAP is?  When we offer a program with second audio programming (SAP) it means you are getting both English and French translation at the same time.  You can use your digital cable remote control to switch to second audio programming and listen to the other language translation.  For example, when Midnight Mass airs at 6pm in French, if you switch to second audio programming, you will be able to hear the translation in English.  When it's airing in English on the 25th, if you switch to SAP, you will hear French translation.  SAP is only available on certain live Vatican events.)
  • There's also a Christmas morning programming for kids, and the Pope's greeting to the world Urbi et Orbi at noon on Christmas day (available in Italian).

From all of us at Salt + Light Television, have a holy and joyful Christmas -- may the Christ child reign in your hearts this Christmas season!
