There's certainly no doubt that being a mother can be challenging. But at the same time it is a glorious and beautiful vocation. In 2007 Salt + Light Television began a project to explore and celebrate the vocation of motherhood. Headed by producer Gillian Kantor, the result was our 13-part series Mothering, Full of Grace. With discussion groups, glimpses into the homes of Catholic families, prayers, conversations between husbands and wives, and action commitments, the half-hour long episodes examine themes such as care-giving, prayer, holidays, friends, and family planning.
