The World Meeting of Families is the world’s largest Catholic gathering of families. Each meeting has a theme that enlivens the event and adds great depth to our understanding of contemporary family life. This year's theme is “Love Is Our Mission: The Family Fully Alive,” emphasizing that love of God and neighbor, taught and experiences in the family, is the way to live a fully joyful and purposeful life.
This video series is part of S+L's preparatory coverage of the 2015 World Meeting of Families and Papal visit.
Meet Ashley and Gregory Light, a couple from Cornwall, Ontario. With only six years of marriage under their belt, one working parent and three young daughters ages six months to four years, life isn't always easy, especially in a world built for double income families.
In spite of the daily struggles, the Light family never loses sight of the bigger picture. With a little bit of help from extended family and a whole lot of faith in God, the Light family remains confident the Lord will provide. It all just comes down to faith.
