Welcome to another edition of Vatican Connections.
This past week the Vatican was filled with humbling emotion, discernment, and ardent resolve as leaders of the Catholic Church from all over the world spent a grueling four days with the pope in an effort to develop some concrete measures against the clerical abuse crisis. Now that the summit has officially ended, one has to wonder how its outcomes and concrete measures will translate to the street.
On tonight's feature interview, we talk to the Formation Director of the Salesians of Don Bosco, and he explains to us what he hopes will come from the summit to those working in the field hospital of pastoral ministry.
We’ll also look at some of the highlights from the summit and bring you some interviews from the Vatican’s first ever summit on Child Protection in the Church.
We have all that and more on today’s special extended edition of Vatican Connections.
