Sur la Route des diocèses - Diocèse de Bathurst Part 1   
Érigé le 8 mai 1860, le diocèse de Bathurst s’étend sur le territoire du Nouveau-Brunswick de la Baie-des-Chaleurs à la péninsule acadienne de Campbellton à Lamèque, en passant par Paquetville, Tracadie et Caraquet. Nommé par le pape Benoît XVI le 22 janvier 2019, Mgr Daniel Jodoin, évêque de ce diocèse a fait de « l’amour dans la vérité » le moteur de son action pastorale. Originaire de Granby et incardiné dans l’archidiocèse de Sherbrooke, Mgr Jodoin n’a de cesse de faire resplendir la beauté de l’Évangile sur cette terre néo-brunswickoise. Pleinement engagée dans la transformation missionnaire telle que voulue par le pape François, l’Église de Bathurst emprunte de nouvelles voies pour que parvienne à tous le don de la beauté qui ne se ternit pas. (no 288). Dans cet épisode de « Sur la route des diocèses », nous partons à la rencontre des différents visages de l’Église catholique dans cette région du Nouveau-Brunswick.
