Sunday, September 4, 2005 - Witness Interview His Eminence William Cardinal Keeler, Archbishop-emeritus of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The interview was conducted by Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB on September 4, 2005 in Toronto. Cardinal Keeler died on March 23, 2017 at the age of 86. He was a priest for more than 61 years and special advisor to the Second Vatican Council. The Cardinal was a beloved pastor of souls, an exemplary leader, and a respected collaborator in ministry. He was known for his very important interfaith work with the Jewish community around the world. His episcopal motto, “Do the Work of an Evangelist,” heralded the Church's efforts in the New Evangelization and his great efforts to build bridges among peoples offered the Church and the world an example so badly needed in today's culture.
