Jacqueline Beauchere, Elizabeth J. Letourneau, and Cornelius Williams - Witness Interview

Jacqueline Beauchere is the Chief Online Safety Officer at Microsoft Corporation. Ms. Beauchere is responsible for all aspects of Microsoft’s online safety strategy. She currently serves as an advisory board member to the U.K. government-sponsored WePROTECT Global Alliance to End Child Sexual Exploitation Online and is a member of INHOPE’s Advisory Board. She has previously served as Microsoft’s representative to the boards of directors of the National Cyber Security Alliance, the Technology Coalition, and the Family Online Safety Institute.

Elizabeth J. Letourneau, PhD is Professor with Tenure at the Department of Mental Health, and Director at the Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. For nearly 30 years Dr. Letourneau has developed and evaluated child sexual abuse-related prevention, policy and practice. As the inaugural director of the Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse her efforts now focus on the developing and evaluating CSA prevention interventions; one of these focuses on perpetration prevention and was recently awarded funding by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.

Cornelius Williams is Associate Director & Global Chief of Child Protection, Programme Division, UNICEF. For over 25 years, Cornelius has managed child protection programmes with UNICEF and Save the Children. He has been involved in advocacy that led to improved protection of children from sexual exploitation and abuse in humanitarian settings, reduced recruitment and use of children by armed forces and increased access of children to identity documents/birth certificate and social assistance. He holds a Master's degree from the University of East Anglia, UK.
