Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, has announced details of a referendum on whether or not to lift a constitutional ban on abortion in that country.  Currently under the countries 1983 eighth amendment, abortion is only legal in rare cases when a woman's life is in danger. Now in this upcoming  referendum voters will be asked whether they want to keep this amendment or repeal it. Quebec will mark the one-year anniversary of the mosque shooting with a vigil tonight that will be held in Quebec City to commemorate the racial violence that resulted in the deaths of six men. It was on Jan. 29th exactly a year ago today, that a shooter entered the Islamic cultural centre of Quebec City and open fire killing six, and injuring 19 others.
