Perspectives Daily: A weekend for the poor

Sunday marked the second World Day of the Poor, and Pope Francis recognized the occasion with a weekend full of activities to offer support and raise awareness. The Holy Father visited a temporary clinic, offered a special Mass, and even shared a meal with hundreds of those in need.

Here are the stories that we bring you on today's episode of Perspectives Daily:

  1. Pope Francis made an unexpected visit on Friday to the temporary clinic for the poor set up in St. Peter's Square.
  2. The pope also celebrated Mass with around 6,000 people to offer prayer for the poor, homeless, and needy.
