With just over five weeks to go, more details surface about some of the planned events happening at the world's largest Catholic youth gathering, taking place in Panama this coming January.

  1.  During his weekly general audience, the pope reminds the crowd that Christmas will not be authentic if people get caught up in a frenzy of shopping, presents, and meals.
  2.  Organizers of the 2019 WYD release the latest World Youth Day Minute.
  3. The presidents of each episcopal conference received a letter from the Vatican urging each of them to meet personally with survivors of abuse in their own countries before the February meeting in Rome on the protection of minors in the Church.
