SALT + LIGHT TO AIR LIVE COVERAGE OF
WORLD YOUTH DAY RIO 2013
TORONTO, July 11, 2013 - Salt + Light Television will have live and exclusive coverage of World Youth Day Rio 2013 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 22 - 27, 2013.
In his first trip abroad since being elected pope, His Holiness Pope Francis will make his return to South America for World Youth Day Rio 2013. Originally conceived by Pope John Paul II in 1985, the weeklong international Catholic youth festival has attracted millions from around the globe since it’s inception.
Salt + Light’s team will be on the ground in Rio de Janeiro, and provide viewers with six days of live coverage of World Youth Day Rio 2013 activities. This will include events for pilgrims, interviews and papal events including the week’s final mass.
