It seems that every time that any African country is in the news it’s because of a natural disaster, political turmoil, war or human migration. How often do we see images of prosperity that come out of this continent? It seems that all African countries struggle with poverty and instability. Can Africa be lifted out from poverty? That’s the question we’re asking today. Deacon Pedro speaks with Fr. Charles Chilufya, SJ, the head of the Justice and Ecology Office for the Jesuit Conference of Africa and Madagascar.
