The Birth of the Messiah
The Nativity story is often depicted as a warm and intimate family experience with Mary and Joseph welcoming their firstborn as kings and shepherds to pay their respects. But it was much more than that. Using the most up-to-date Biblical and archeological scholarship, The Birth of the Messiah goes deeper into the traditional tales found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke to reveal the words, symbols and characters that changed the course of human history.

Catholic Focus - Palestinian Liberation Theology
If ever there was a classic case of an irresistible force pitted against an immovable object, the Palestine-Israel conflict is it. Two peoples both insist that the same piece of land is rightfully theirs, and they've been fighting over it for more than 70 years. And while it's been said that this conflict isn't about religion itself, religion has been used since its very beginning to advance certain political goals. What are we as Christians to think of the claims of the Israeli and Palestinian peoples? How can faith inform our viewpoint? And how are we to respond? Join Allyson Kenny as she speaks to Dr. Naim Ateek, a Palestinian Anglican priest and the author of "A Palestinian Theology of Liberation: The Bible, Justice, and the Palestine-Israel Conflict" about how Palestinian Liberation Theology seeks to answer these questions and more.
