Witness - Michael O'Loughlin
A young, Catholic journalist with a keen eye and an adroit pen, Michael J. O'Loughlin is the national reporter for Crux, The Boston Globe's publication covering "all things Catholic." O'Loughlin writes regularly about contemporary Catholic issues, including religion and politics, Catholic young adults, the role of the Church in the public square, and much more at Cruxnow.com. O'Loughlin has also written for several major publications and has been interviewed by numerous media outlets. Originally from Massachusetts, O'Loughlin lives in Chicago and reports occasionally from Rome. He is a graduate of Saint Anselm College and Yale Divinity School. Author of the recently published "The Tweetable Pope," Michael O'Loughlin has masterfully offered to readers the background, context and foreground of Pontifex's brilliant method of communicating with the world. To say that Pope Francis is reaching millions with his tweets is a statistic. To explain why he is reaching millions is authentic education and new evangelization.

Perspectives: The Weekly Edition - A Common Date for Easter?
In May of 2014, Pope Tawadros II of the Coptic Orthodox Church sent a letter to Pope Francis. In it he expressed his desire to establish a single date for all Christian Churches to celebrate Easter. Since the 16th century the Catholic and Orthodox churches have used different calendars to calculate the Date of Easter. But in modern times as Christian persecution has become rampant in many parts of the world, Christians are seeing more of what they have—and should have—in common. Join us for a new episode of Perspectives: The Weekly Edition with guest host Sebastian Gomes, Fr. Peter Galadza a liturgist from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and Fr. John Ramsey of the Coptic Orthodox Church as they discuss the potential establishment of a common date of Easter and the implications for unity among the Christian churches.
